Happy Daddy Golf

Happy Daddy Golf

Frequently Asked Questions

Your group. Your film. The details.

Will our film look like the hype film on the website?

Yes, but it will be yours. Same cinematic broadcast feel, completely different cast of characters, stories, photos, course, and questionable decisions.

Think of it like a great song. A lot of great songs are built from the same handful of chords. Same building blocks. Completely different song.

How does Happy Daddy Golf actually make our film?

You give us the people, stories, photos, course, and trip details. We send that material to the Writers' Room to create the screenplay. Your Commissioner reviews and approves it. Then the approved screenplay goes to the Studio, where the film is produced.

What is the Writers' Room?

The Writers' Room turns everything your group submits into the screenplay for your film. Stories go in. Broadcast drama comes out.

What is the Studio?

The Studio takes the approved screenplay and produces the actual film, including the visuals, narration, skits, player cards, course shots, and final broadcast.

What can we customize?

Quite a bit. Your players, stories, scouting material, photos, course, trip details, and inside jokes shape the film. You bring the ingredients. We make the show.

Do we roast ourselves or roast each other?

Both. Tell us about yourself and submit stories about the other guys. Then the Writers' Room decides how everyone deserves to be portrayed.

Will people know who submitted a roast about them?

No. What happens in scouting stays in scouting. We use the material, not the source.

Does everyone need to complete scouting?

No. We can still make the film without everyone participating. But more participation means more stories, more inside jokes, and a better film. Give the Writers' Room some ammunition.

How many skits are in the film?

The standard format includes up to four featured player skits. Want more? Additional skits will be available as an option. Who gets the starring treatment depends on the photos, consent, and material available.

Will everyone make it into the film?

Yes. Playing members are included through skits, player cards, narration, photos, or other broadcast elements. Not everyone gets their six seconds of fame the same way.

What if someone does not want to be in an AI video?

Totally fine. Starring roles are optional. Declining one does not hold up the film.

Will the film show the actual golf course we are playing?

Yes. Send us good photos of the course and the Studio uses them as visual references. The more we know what the place actually looks like, the more your film feels like your trip.

How do the aerial looking course shots work?

You send us course photos and the Studio uses them as references to create cinematic course imagery. No drone crew required.

Do we need professional photos?

No. Good phone photos work great. Clear faces for players and good wide shots of the course are much more useful than fancy photography.

How mean are the roasts?

Wedding toast mean. Not celebrity roast mean. We want the guy getting roasted to laugh too.

Does Happy Daddy Golf make things up about us?

No. We can exaggerate the truth for comedy, but we do not invent personal facts about real people. Your group will give us plenty to work with.

Does the Commissioner get to review anything?

Yes. The Commissioner reviews and approves the screenplay before it goes into production. Nothing goes to the Studio until the Commissioner gives it the green light.

How much work does the Commissioner have to do?

Not much. Get the group set up, encourage everyone to participate, provide the important trip material, and approve the screenplay. You are the Commissioner, not the video editor.

What makes each Happy Daddy Golf film different?

Your group. Different guys, different stories, different rivalries, different course, different disasters. The broadcast format is ours. The nonsense is entirely yours.
